This page includes calendar Q2 2026 only. Loan-level SBA 7(a) FOIA approvals are filtered by ApprovalDate; loans from every other quarter in the extract are ignored. Dollar volume is GrossApproval. Lender identity is grouped by FDIC certificate or NCUA charter when present, otherwise by a normalized lender name. Industry cuts use 2-digit NAICS sectors (31–33 manufacturing, 44–45 retail, and 48–49 transportation are collapsed). Geography uses ProjectState / ProjectCounty (where the funded project is located), not the lender headquarters. ZIP rankings use BorrZip (borrower mailing ZIP), which can differ from the project county. Rows without a positive GrossApproval or parseable ApprovalDate are excluded from all rollups. Missing NAICS codes are bucketed as Unclassified. This dataset contains approved loans only — it cannot support an approval-rate statistic. Individual borrower names and addresses are not published.
373,981 loans in the FOIA extract fell outside Q2 2026 and were ignored in this view.
